Dr. László Kökény

Senior advisor in the Energy and Climate Policy Division

He holds a degree in economics and a PhD in Business Administration from Corvinus University of Budapest. He has been teaching and researching at the university since 2017, currently as an assistant professor and head of department. He has been working at Századvég for more than six years: first as a junior researcher, then as a senior researcher, and since 2024 as a senior advisor in the Energy and Climate Policy Division. He is responsible for operational matters in the division's portfolio and oversees all projects under the division's responsibility. His main areas of consulting are the exploration and analysis of factors determining household energy consumption, research into electromobility challenges and proposed solutions, and issues related to the implementation of sustainable and green technologies. Based on policy and professional requirements, he strives to support all consulting projects with high quality from an academic perspective.
