Irén Márta

Economist and sustainability expert with significant international experience.

As director of BCSDH, she considers her primary task to be accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy and promoting knowledge sharing and cooperation among players in Hungarian business, academia, and regulation. She believes that sustainable, responsible corporate operation is a competitive advantage and the only option in the long term. 

He has gained extensive experience in sustainability and change management at international companies, which he applies in his daily work at BCSDH. 

He has happily shared his knowledge in nearly 500 presentations and is also happy to take on mentoring roles. In 2017, he was elected Corporate Sustainability Ambassador. He is a founding member of several influential organizations, including the Hungarian Association for Environmentally Conscious Construction and the Hungarian Climate Change Scientific Committee. He serves on the professional jury of renowned sustainability awards on a pro bono basis.
